Backstory
When Urtė was born, her parents had given her up early for adoption and that was that. As someone who was used to going along with the flow of others, Urtė didn't have a sad childhood at all, nor did she have any aspirations for her future, although she was curious about its turnout. When Arcadia adopted her first, she felt she'd gotten acquainted with someone who was the opposite of her, yet she'd always respected her as a mother regardless of their differences.
Maybe one could say Urtė was more mature than her mother in terms of personality, knowing she shouldn't expect things of others or rush through life. By becoming a family, she'd taught that to Arcadia who had adopted her in what seemed like a whim than a desire to have a child. She didn't mind though, and out of it came good things after all. Urtė grew up well off for sure, and Arcadia was attentive enough to her medical needs and suupporting her future like a good parent. In their early days, Urtė didn't emote very much, and Arcadia gave a somewhat stressed impression as a new parent, but the two grew close enough that sometimes Urtė says she feels more like someone her age, or a sister.
As far as school, Urtė initially had trouble over the years falling asleep against her intentions to stay alert, just being narcoleptic. She knew nothing of her birth family to know if any ailments came from them, or if there was more to expect. Arcadia was still quick enough to find soltuions or treatments for her, and so Urtė appreciated her efforts to help her. Other than that, her school life was calm and she got along well with those her age.
Urtė thought she'd spend a lot of her life invested in her hobbies, invested in video games especially, but at one point Arcadia decided it would be good to get Urtė a sibling to grow close to. Mecho was much younger than her, but taking care of him was a nice change of pace that Urtė enjoyed. They grew up very different in personalities and likes, but to have someone that relied on her was new in a good way, and they did often play together.
Now in her final year of high school, when many make a decision for their futures, Urtė was settled on becoming a photographer out of everything she liked to do. She already had a good eye for it and an ever growing portfolio, so she didn't need too much preparation for it if she's already dipped her toes long ago. Still, she would prefer a nearby college so moving isn't an issue, and to still be around her loved ones longer.
Some of her friends dream of traveling, some are just as sedentary as Urtė, but she likes to see what others can accomplish. Her brother Mecho has a promising future seeing how bright and innovative he is, but she does wonder what will become of her mother. She's noticed over the years that Arcadia has a crush on someone, and seeing occasional gifts show it is requited, yet they don't get together. Both parties are parents as is, but they're content even if they don't share a living space. If everyone around her can have a good enough ending that they're fine with, Urtė simply doesn't worry about them. For herself, she'll still continue to see how things turn out, pleased with all the surprises she's come across so far.
